An ACCA qualification earns you a membership in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. It is similar to the CA (Chartered Accountant) qualifications in India as well as the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualifications in the United States. The ACCA is the largest global professional accountancy body, with more than 300,000 members and students in 170 countries. It is a professional qualification in the field of accountancy, auditing, and taxation. A student can become a member of the ACCA after passing all the 14 papers in ACCA and attaining 3 years of practical experience. This practical experience can be obtained before, during, or after the course. On completing the papers and practical experience, the student is inducted as an associate member of the ACCA. An associate member will be elevated to fellow member after completing three years of professional experience.
