How does it work?

The ACCA qualification should take about three to four years to complete on average. The duration of study is calculated for a candidate who is working full time and studying part time, someone who registers with the minimum entry requirements. The length of time can vary depending on your individual situation and you will have 10 years from the date you register to complete the ACCA qualification exams.

You can choose how you study, how often you sit your exams, and where you get your relevant practical experience. Your study options include full-time courses, part-time day or evening courses, weekend courses, and revision courses. You can choose from a variety of study options. So as well as registering with us, you will need to make these decisions too.

PER – Practical Experience Requirement

A key part of the ACCA qualification is getting relevant practical experience in the workplace during the course of study. As we give you the theory and methods of accountancy, we also create the right opportunities for practical experience to support your knowledge. The experience, alongside a keen ethical awareness, will fully prepare you for a challenging career as a professional accountant. The ACCA qualification closely links practical experience to your studies. This means you can apply the knowledge you gain in the classrooms to what you work on in your workplace.

Exemption Fee:

Students who are exempted from papers, since they have relevant qualifications accredited by ACCA, will, however, have to pay the exam fee for those papers.

Additional degrees and certificates awarded while pursuing the ACCA program

If you decide to complete the ACCA qualification, you will be awarded a diploma or advanced diploma in Accounting and Business and a BSc honors in Applied Accountancy from the Oxford Brookes University, London, on your way to completing the ACCA qualification
