The benefits of getting an MBA
7
Many Bachelor’s graduates often ask if getting an MBA will help them find success in life. Although the answer to this has been debated on various internet forums, it primarily depends on your definition of success:
1. Do you define success in terms of the amount of knowledge you have gained as a result of studying in a particular field? Then yes, it certainly will help you find success. MBA Colleges have a wide variety of business-related topics that are designed to act as a guide and mentor before you begin working real-time in the corporate world. They will enhance your skill sets and increase your knowledge in business procedures and management skills.
2. Does success to you mean that you have another qualification to add to your resume? Or that you have another certificate to add to your portfolio collection? If this is your definition of success, then having an MBA certainly affords you these various add-ons to your resume and your portfolio collection.
3. Do you define success as a good job with an enviable salary? If this is the type of success you’re after, then yes, having an MBA from a reputable college certainly does provide this. There are a large number of well-known MBA colleges or preferred universities (such as Great Lakes Institute of Management, IIM Ahmedabad, and other top schools) that help with getting a higher pay grade and a better beginner position in a company if you are a fresher.
Having an MBA not only introduces you to the corporate world with a wealth of knowledge at your disposal, but it also provides you a measure of self-sufficiency and leadership ability.
Why get an MBA? An MBA course is: - Specifically designed to train more leaders - Targeted at developing your potential and ability - A value add to your future career - An enhancer for your ability to train and develop potential in others - And much, much more!
MBA’s are more common, yes, but they certainly matter (once you join an organisation) for a job promotion that tends more toward the management side.
