Launching the Great Lakes programs at the Gurgaon campus in tie-up with the Institute of Energy Management and Research, Dr Bala V. Balachandran, the dean,  announced that in the next two years  Great Lakes Institute of Management plans to invest over 300 crore in a business school in Mumbai and a university of corporate excellence in Bhubaneswar.

The Gurgaon campus, called Great Lakes Institute of Energy Management and Research, at present offers a two-year full-time program in energy management. The institute will offer two more executive programs starting January 2012—a one-year general management program and a two-year energy management program conducted over weekends for working professionals.

The institute, which is operating out of a leased campus right now, will move to its new campus, also in Gurgaon, by 2013.
