Interior designing involves planning and designing the interior elements of a house, apartment, office or other structural space, including colour scheme, fittings, furnishings and sometimes architectural features. The architects consult with the interior designers about traffic patterns and may ask them to plan the placement of stairways, windows, and doors, as well as cabinets and other built-in units. Professionals may also find work in private design consultancy firms, theaters and exhibition organizing companies. Remuneration:

A fresher can start to earn about Rs.8, 000 to Rs.10, 000 pm. Within a few years of experience the salary may surge up to Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 75,000 per month. The best jobs will go to those with talent, education, and experience in this field.
