Introduction:
Australia is a country in the Southern Hemisphere comprising the Australian mainland, the island of Tasmania and numerous smaller islands in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Australia has several neighboring countries, including Indonesia, East Timor and Papua New Guinea to the north, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and New Caledonia to the northeast and New Zealand to the southeast. The world’s largest coral reef, the Great Barrier Reef, lies a short distance off the northeast coast and extends for over 2,000 kilometres.

Visa Procedures to Australia:
Student visa for Australia may not be required depending on the length of study and nationality of the student.
In general you will need the following to apply for a student visa:
- A letter of acceptance from the school
- Proof that you have sufficient funds to pay school fees, living expenses to study in Australia
- Establish to Government of Australia that you will return home at the end of your studies
- You will need to pass a medical exam if needed; and qualify as a temporary resident in Australia, including a temporary resident visa if required
The visa applications can be submitted at the Australian Visa Application Center at New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata in accordance with the Jurisdiction specified.
