Introduction:
Sweden, officially known as the Kingdom of Sweden, is a Nordic country situated in the Scandinavian peninsula of Northern Europe. Sweden shares borders with Norway to the west and Finland to the east, and is connected to Denmark by the Oresund Bridge. Situated in Northern Europe, Sweden lies west of the Baltic Sea and Gulf of Bothnia, providing a long coastline. To the west is the Scandinavian mountain chain (Skanderna), a range that separates Sweden from Norway.

Supported by publicly subsidized programs for further education, retraining, adult schools and study groups the educational system is based on tax-financed education for all. Traditions such as June’s Midsummer and December’s Lucia are of great importance to Swedes and are celebrated just as enthusiastically today as they have been for generations. This sense of heritage is mixed with open-mindedness for other cultures, due to the facts that one-fifth of the population has roots in other countries and many Swedes speak various other languages. Not only is Sweden home to various inventors and entrepreneurs, but it is also a creative hub for fashion, music and food.
Climate Conditions in Sweden:
There is an important weather divergence between northern and southern Sweden, with the north normally having a long winter of more than seven months and the south, on the other hand, having a winter that lasts only two months and a summer of more than four. The climate of Sweden is temperate in the south with cold, cloudy winters and cool, partly cloudy summers and sub-arctic in the north. The north of Sweden lies within the Arctic Circle, and continental influences contribute to the cold climate.
