FOSTIIMA believes that it is its prime responsibility to ensure that all its successful Students find placement in well known Corporates as per their area of specialization and ability.

FOSTIIMA maintains excellent contacts with well known Corporates in a wide spectrum of Industry Segments viz. Consulting, IT & ITES, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Engineering, Logistics, FMCG & FMCD, etc. to ensure ready availability of placement opportunities to the Students. FOSTIIMA believes that it is its prime responsibility to ensure that all its Students find placement in well known Corporates as per their area of specialization and ability.

A two-month Summer Internship at the end of the first year of the PGPM program is an integral part of FOSTIIMA’s curriculum and as a policy [being followed since 2008], FOSTIIMA accepts only ‘Stipend-paid’ Summer Internships for its Students, because we at FOSTIIMA believe that internships without stipends neither add value to the corporate nor provide any learning to the student. Payment of a stipend ensures that both the Student and the Manager Guide in the Corporate take the internship seriously thereby ensuring that the Student derives the maximum practical knowledge and experience from the ‘Summer Job’ and also satisfies the Corporate with the work during the Internship.

Many FOSTIIMA Summer Interns receive PPOs (Pre Placement Offers i.e. offer of a regular job) from the Corporate satisfied with their performance during the Summer Internship.

All the FOSTIIMA Students of the 2008 2010 Batch have done Summer Internships with stipends up to Rs. 15,000 per month. The Median Stipend is Rs. 10,000 per month.

Despite the economic slowdown, the placement scenario at FOSTIIMA has been very good. FOSTIIMA Final Year Students have already been placed with well known Corporates and multi-nationals.

The highest package received is a CTC level of Rs. 11.75 lacs per annum whereas the median CTC level is upwards of Rs. 4 lacs per annum.
