Of course, you can follow the footsteps of countless others who live the traditional life of getting educated, maybe obtain a management degree and get employed by large organizations. The path is relatively safe, secure and predictable to a large extent, but has several limitations. Entrepreneurship, on the other hand, offers an exciting array of possibilities, which, although not being devoid of inherent risks, are challenging and fulfilling to the self to a great extent. An entrepreneur is someone who is able to observe the environment, spot an opportunity to make a difference and then plan and implement a course of action to add value by leveraging the opportunity. That someone could be you! The scope and variety of self-generated work that is the cornerstone of entrepreneurship is unlimited.

• Incubation and shared services support: To mitigate the level of risk that an entrepreneur would have to take to start a business. Basically he JGI ventures will be funding the start-ups which is currently caped at 1 crore per company, and the shared services support will ensure an eco-system which will enable the entrepreneur to choose between the various options like: Legalities, HR support, Registration, Marketing, Branding etc. which is free for one year from the start of the business. Note that the above incubation and shared services support is given only for those who opt for either the 30 lakhs or 24 lakhs program.
• The course period is designed so that the student entrepreneur gets ample time to work out his business plan with the help of the faculty and then present it to the JGI Venture capitalist so in turn being well prepared to start his business. He will be able to draw performance based milestones which will give clarity for the venture capitalist to release funds accordingly.
• Global Entrepreneurship and international institution tie-ups: The students of the program will travel to 4 countries namely China, Honkong, Philippines & Germany. We have tied up with Hiemerer in Germany and Asian Institute of Management in Philippines where they will study capsule courses on entrepreneurship. The students are sent to these countries as business delegates to speak and interact with entrepreneurs carrying out businesses which is opted or chosen to start on completion of the course by the students of the iDEA program.
• The students is eligible for a PGDE (post graduate diploma in entrepreneurship) from EDI and two other certificates from Heimerer and AIM.
• They will spend about 4 months in foreign travel.
• Entrepreneur Excellence Seminar series: An enablement for the students to interact with successful entrepreneurs.
• Sports: We have chosen swimming, Golf and Archery as sports for the students of the iDEA program. Logically because Golf teaches one how to network, swimming brings in stamina and Archery to focus.
• Brand and Networking: All companies incubated by JGI will automatically have a brand fixed to their company as JGI in itself is a well-established group around India, in addition to it we have built a huge network and an ecosystem which will enable the incubates to trade amongst themselves. Since JGI has over 25,000 students pursuing educational courses, there is a fresh ready market available.
