C-DIT Offers Media Courses

You may be already planning your next move after graduating next year. Some of you who are in the 12th grade may want to have an idea of the courses open to them. The Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT) offers the following courses in media studies. Besides providing in-depth knowledge, the courses provide hands-on training as well as field experience in the various processes of media production. C-DIT offers placement assistance to those who successfully complete the programs they offer.
I) Postgraduate courses in
• science and development communication,
• multimedia design, and
• animation film designing.
Graduates in any discipline are eligible to apply. In the selection of candidates for the science and development communication PG diploma course, preference is given to science graduates with 50 percent marks. BTech/BFA graduates are the preferred candidates for the multimedia design course, and BFA graduates are preferred while shortlisting candidates for the animation film designing program.
II) Postgraduate diploma in
• television production management and marketing, and
• television and new media journalism.
Graduates in any discipline are eligible to apply.
III) Diploma courses in
• digital media production,
• web design and development, and
• sound engineering.
Those who have passed 12th grade in any subject combination are eligible to apply.
IV) Certificate courses in
• digital still photography,
• non-linear editing, and
• videography.
Students who have passed SSLC or an equivalent examination are eligible to apply.
