The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University is offering a diploma course in multimedia in the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode starting January 2012. All candidates who have successfully complete class12 may apply. Those currently pursuing a degree course can also apply since the ODL mode offers great flexibility.

The one-year course will be covered in two semesters. The syllabus includes animation, graphics, audio and video effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe premiere, combustion, After Effects, Maya, and so on. Those who complete the course can work as story board artists, freehand cartoonists, digital effects animators, digital effects painters, visual effects supervisors, and the like.
