SICOMS offers a two-year residential PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), PGDM+MBA (Post Graduate Diploma in Management along with MBA certification from ‘A’ graded Bharatiyar University) .These programs has an edge over the conventional MBA degree as it involves continuous improvements in the curriculum, evaluation and assessment systems, course structure etc. The curriculum that has been developed by a team of experts from the industry is a perfect blend of classroom learning and industry exposure. It ensures that, at the end of 2 years, each student is transformed into a self-motivated leader with the skill sets required for the industry.

The two-year course is organized into six terms:

In the first year (first three terms), students gain knowledge in various disciplines of management through twenty four rigorous courses. All the academic courses include case studies, projects and research study by students to expose them to the latest business practices.
The rigor of academics in the first year culminates with the mandatory Summer Internship Project (SIP). The six weeks project offers the student an opportunity to experience management practices through live projects in the industry.
In the two trimesters following the Summer Internship Project, the programme prepares the students to pursue the management discipline of their choices, in addition to the core courses. Students can opt to specialize in the areas of Marketing Management, Finance Management, Production and Operations Management or Human Resource Management.
Unique to the PGDM programme at SICOMS is the mandatory, field-based Capstone/consulting Project, which will be completed between the fourth and sixth trimesters. Through the Capstone project, students develop critical skills that will enhance their capabilities of problem identification and analysis in a real life scenario. This also helps the students build a professional network outside their college.
