Yoga Certification Course
According to archaeologist Gregory Possehl several seals discovered at Indus Valley Civilization sites, dating to the mid 3rd millennium BC, depict figures in positions resembling a common yoga or meditation pose, showing “a form of ritual discipline, suggesting a precursor of yoga,” The practice of yoga for both physical and mental health dates back to ancient times. The health benefits offered by yoga have led to its increasing popularity in India and the rest of the world. Though the practice of yoga has been prevalent in India for several centuries though, yoga as a career option has become popular in the recent past because of its curative powers. Combining various aspects of breathing, body positions and postures, the art of yoga has to be learnt by an expert. Yoga can offer two major career paths, one in the field of research and training and the other as a yoga therapist, one who cures ailments through yoga.
