Engineering Entrance Exam for BEEE Studies

Bharath University Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE) is an all-India level entrance test conducted by Bharath University in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is conducted for selecting students for the undergraduate and postgraduate engineering courses. The university conducts the entrance twice a year – in the month of April / May every year for admission into undergraduate programmes, and in month of May / June every year for admission into postgraduate programmes.

Courses

The entrance exam is conducted for the following course:

  • B Tech
  • B.Arch
  • M Tech

Eligibility

TOnly those candidates are allowed to appear in the Bharath University Engineering Entrance Exam who satisfies all the eligibility qualifications set by the University. The eligibility criteria are given below.

  • The candidates must have cleared Higher Secondary Certificate Examination or its equivalent examination under 10+2 scheme recognized by any state/national Board.
  • The candidates must have obtained not less than 60% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • The candidates, who are applying for Bio-technology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical courses, must have passed qualifying examination with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Biology, Physics & Chemistry.
  • Students appearing in final year examination are also eligible to apply in the engineering entrance test.
  • The candidates belonging to reserved categories such as Schedule Castes (SC) / Schedule Tribes (ST) / Physically Handicapped should have passed the qualifying examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology.

Syllabus

The questions in the entrance test are generally asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of 10+2 level. The syllabus for the entrance test is not defined questions are based on subjects such as Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
