Engineering Entrance Exam for COMEDK UGET Studies

“Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” (COMEDK) is the body responsible for conducting the COMED-K Undergraduate Entrance Test in the state of Karnataka. It is the entrance test for medical, dental and engineering under graduate courses called COMEDK UGET , for candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS and BE. The entrance test is being conducted for merit determination of the students and for use by COMEDK member institutions only.

Eligibility

Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” (COMEDK) has set various eligibility criteria for the COMEDK UGET Exam, these as follow:

B.E

The candidate need to have passed their Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent examination with 45% marks in the subjects like physics, chemistry and mathematics (along with Biotechnology or Computer Science or Biology or Electronics as optional subjects in place of Chemistry) with English as a compulsory subject. In case of SC/ST candidate the marks should not be less than 40%.

Syllabus

Generally, the questions are asked from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology of 10+2 level of examination. Topics that are generally asked are given in the following lines.
