Engineering Entrance Exam for JNU CBEE Studies
JNU CBEE Exam which stands for JNU Combined Biotechnology Entrance Exam is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, one of the most reputed universities in India, for admission into various postgraduate programs in Biotechnology, offered at participating colleges/institutes and universities of the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

Eligibility
The candidates must have a BE/BTech degree from a recognized university, with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in any of these disciplines – Chemical Engineering/Biochemical Engineering, Industrial Biotechnology, Leather Technology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, B Pharma, Chemical Technology, or MSc. in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Biophysics, Microbial Genetics and Bioinformatics. (Also BTech/ BE in Electrochemistry, Bioengineering and MSc in Chemistry & Physics in case of Anna University and MSc in Bioengineering in case of West Bengal University of Technology)
Syllabus
Candidates appearing at the JNU CBEE have to prepare in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Computer & Information Sciences, and Biology (Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics and Molecular Biology). Candidates wishing for admission in M Tech (Biotechnology) have also to prepare in Mathematics. Candidates prepare in a different combination of subjects, according to their preferred field.
