Engineering Entrance Exam for Kalasalingam University B Tech Studies

Kalasalingam University conducts an entrance examination every year, for enrolling students to undergraduate courses in the field of engineering, namely, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech). The course is a three-year full time program. Kalasalingam University was started in 1984 as ‘Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering’ (AKCE). In 2006, it got recognition from University Grants Commission (UGC), after which, it was renamed as ‘Kalasalingam University’. After the entrance test, a merit list is prepared on the ground of candidates’ marks in the test and academic performances. Short listed candidates must appear in the counseling conducted by the University.

Eligibility

The admission seekers must have passed in 10+2 examination with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, from any recognized Board. The aspirants should not be more than 21 years old.

Examination Pattern

The test paper of Kalasalingam University Entrance Exam consists of objective type of questions, each carrying four options for the correct answer. These questions are based on Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
