Engineering Entrance Exam for NERIST Studies
NERIST Entrance Test, also known as NEE, is conducted by the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST), which is a deemed University. The entrance test is conducted for admitting students to various courses of science and technology at the Certificate, Diploma and Degree levels. The entrance test is divided into three different examinations, that is, NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III. The three examinations are based on the three different courses’ level. NERIST Entrance Examination is conducted at various centers in India’s North Eastern States. North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology came into being in 1984, under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

Eligibility
The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as a subject of study from a recognized Board.
or
The candidate should have passed 10+2 Vocational program in Electronics/ Farm Machinery & Equipment / Electrical / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / Automobile Technology/ Structure & Fabrication Technology/ Computer Science OR NERIST Certificate (E&T). Such candidates are only eligible to seek admission in Computer Science and Engineering or in their respective branches.
Syllabus
North eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology, Arunachal Pradesh, every year conducts NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) for admission into certificate, Diploma and Degree programs in engineering. The entrance examination is conducted in three different sets- NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III, which are designed for certificate program, diploma and degree program respectively.
