Engineering Entrance Exam for Orissa JEE Exam Studies

Orissa University conducts the Orissa Joint Entrance Test (Orissa JEE) for admission into various programs of the government and private colleges in Orissa. Through this entrance test, students are enrolled into to the first year degree courses in Engineering/ Technology, Architecture, Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT), MBBS/BDS, Pharmacy, MCA, MBA and to the lateral entry (of state candidates) to the third semester of degree courses in engineering/technology, HMCT and Pharmacy. The test centers of Orissa JEE are located in various important cities across the country.

Eligibility

Candidates must have passed their Higher Secondary Examination from Orissa Board or any other recognized board with Physics, Mathematics, and one from Chemistry/ Computer Science/Biology/ Biotechnology or pass in 10+3 diploma course in engineering including those having less than 60% marks in aggregate.

Syllabus

There is no definite set of syllabus prescribed for the Orissa Joint Entrance Test. Mostly question are asked from mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and architecture.
