Engineering Entrance Exam for Uttarakhand Technical University Studies

Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, conducts the State Entrance Examination known as Uttarakhand Technical University Entrance Exam for admission to degree courses in B Pharma, BHMCT, B Pharmacy II year/B Tech II year and post graduate course in MCA of State Government, Government, aided and Private unaided institutions affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University. In addition, UTUEE is also conducted for admission into MCA and B Pharma of HNB Garhwal University and B Pharma of Kumaon University.

Eligibility

BTech/ B Pharma (Lateral Entry – Second Year)

The candidate must have a three years diploma or equivalent (recognized by AICTE/MHRD) with 60% marks in aggregate. Candidate with BSc Ist Class (60% marks) degree are also eligible for lateral admission in B Tech program. He/she must be permanent resident of Uttarakhand to be eligible for admission under the lateral entry scheme.

Syllabus

Candidate appearing the UTUEE have to prepare in the following grounds – Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, General Awareness and Computer Awareness. The entrance test follows a standard of intermediate level. However, candidate will prepare in a different combination of subjects according to their preferred field. .
