Engineering Entrance Exam for VITMEE Studies
VITMEE, which is also known as Vellore Institute of Technology Master’s Entrance Exam, is conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University, Vellore, Tamil Nadu. The competitive entrance test is conducted for the admission of the candidates in postgraduate programmes – Master of Technology (M Tech) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). The entrance test is conducted at various test centers including Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna etc. Final selection of the candidates is done on the basis of candidates’ marks in VITMEE entrance test and interview. Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)..

Eligibility
Vellore Institute of Technology University has regularized many eligibility prerequisites for those who are applying for this all India entrance test. .
Master of Technology (M. Tech)
- The applicant must be a citizen of India.
- The candidates must have done graduation in relevant streams of engineering, from any recognized University.
- The qualifying examination need to have passed by the candidates with not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Final year appearing students are also eligible to apply for this PG programme.
