Medical Entrance Exam for JCECE Studies
Jharkhand CET is conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) Board for selection of candidates into the first year of Engineering, Medical and Agricultural degree programs in various government and private institutes/colleges in Jharkhand.
Courses
The entrance test is conducted for the following courses:
- BDS
- MBBS
Eligibility
The candidates, who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English taken together, are eligible to appear in the entrance exam. The minimum age requirement of the candidates is 17 years.
Syllabus
The candidates wishing to pursue engineering courses must prepare syllabus from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, while the applicants aspiring for career in medical field should study the relevant syllabus of Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology. The syllabus for the exam is based on the curriculum studied by the applicants at the 10+2 level.
