Medical Entrance Exam for RPMT Studies

To provide admission to undergraduate medical courses, Rajasthan University of Health Sciences conducts a state level entrance examination, that is, Rajasthan Pre Medical Test, RPMT. Based on the entrance test, the University prepares a merit list determined by the marks in entrance test and qualifying academic examination. Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) is situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The University started functioning in 2005, through an Act of Legislature, Government of Rajasthan. Many government and private medical colleges are affiliated to the University.

Courses

The entrance test is conducted for the following courses:

• M BBS
• BVSc & AH
• BDS

Eligibility:

• The candidates must be above 17 years of age at the time of applying for the test.
• The candidates need to have passed higher secondary certificate examination or its equivalent under 10+2 examination pattern, from any recognized Board.
• The qualifying examination must have passed by the candidates with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, from any recognized University.
• The B. Sc degree holders may also apply for the test.
• The candidates, who are appearing in final year of qualifying examination, are also eligible to apply for the test. Result awaited candidates may also apply.

Syllabus

Rajasthan Pre Medical Test (RPMT) is considered as one of the important entrance tests of medical field in state of Rajasthan. To prepare for RPMT, the candidates should practice all the basics of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English of the 10+2 examination syllabus.
