Nursing Entrance Exam for ASSO CET Exam Studies

Association of Managements of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges (AMUPMDC) in Maharashtra is the statutory body, which every year conducts the all India level medical entrance test, which is popularly known as ASSO CET. ASSO CET Medical Common Entrance Test is conducted for admission into MBBS, BDS, BAMS,BHMS, B PTh, B OTh & BSc-Nursing courses offered in all Private Medical and Dental Colleges in the state of Maharashtra.

Courses:

The entrance exam is conducted for the following courses:

• B Sc (Nursing)
• BAMS

Eligibility

• The candidates have to pass Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent from Maharashtra State Board or any recognized state/national Board.
• The candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in the qualifying examination. The reserved and open categories candidates, like Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribes / Physically Handicapped, must have passed qualifying examination with minimum 40% marks in aggregate in science subjects and English.
• The candidates, who have appeared/waiting for results/appearing in the qualifying examination, are also eligible to apply for the ASSO – CET entrance test. For that, they have to provide all the necessary certificates as an evidence of passing the examination at the time of admission.
