Nursing Entrance Exam for BHU GNM Entrance Studies

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery Entrance Test is conducted at national level by Banaras Hindu University (BHU), for enrolling candidates into diploma programme in the field of nursing. Candidates who are appearing for the final year exam of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply. Application forms can be obtained from specific authorized centers and BHU University and office of its constituent colleges. Applicants can also apply through online. BHU GNM entrance test online application form is available on the official website of BHU i.e. www.bhu.ac.in. After qualifying entrance exam, selected candidates have to face medical fitness test before admission.

Eligibility

Candidates who are seeking admission in diploma level nursing course i.e. General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), have to fulfill the general eligibility criteria given in the following lines.

• The candidates must have passed Intermediate or equivalent with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized Board.
• The candidates must have obtained minimum aggregate of 45% marks in qualifying exams.
• The candidates must have attained the age of 17 years on 31st December, 2010 or at the time of admission.
• SC/ ST candidates with aggregate of 35% in the qualifying examination are eligible to apply.
