Nursing Entrance Exam for Dr DY Patil University AIET Studies

Dr DY Patil University conducts an all-India level entrance test, known as AIET, for enrolling students to various undergraduate level courses in the fields of medical sciences, dental sciences, nursing, Ayurveda, and Physiotherapy. Dr DY Patil University, which is located in Navi Mumbai, came into being in 2002 through an act of University Grants Commission (UGC). Many colleges that are affiliated to Dr DY Patil University have got ISO 9001:2000 certifications. Since its inception, the university conducts All India Entrance Test (AIET) every year, to admit students to courses to the aforementioned streams, conducted in its affiliated colleges. Final selection of the candidates is done on the basis of their performance in the entrance test and personal interview.

Eligibility

The admission seekers must have passed in 10+2 examination, from any recognized state/national Board. For the diploma program, the aspirants should have completed B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from any institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).

Examination Pattern

The test paper of Dr DY Patil University All India Entrance Exam consists of 200 questions. The candidates have to answer them within three hours. There is no negative marking for wrong answers in the test. The questions are asked from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Zoology.

Syllabus

For the entrance test, the students have to prepare Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Zoology of 10+2 level.
