Nursing Entrance Exam for MP PMT Entrance Exam Studies

Madhya Pradesh Pre Medical Test (MP PMT) is held for admission to undergraduate medical and dental programs. The entrance test is conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, Bhopal. In Madhya Pradesh, 50% seats in all private medical colleges and all MP seats Government medical colleges are filled through Madhya Pradesh Pre Medical Test (MP PMT). For the final selection, personal interview is also conducted along with the entrance test. The name of some of the colleges, which accept the scores of candidates in MP PMT, are given below.

Eligibility

The candidates have to go through all eligibility criteria laid down by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, before applying for appearing in Madhya Pradesh Pre Medical Test (MP PMT). The eligibility criteria are given in the lines below.

• Residents of Madhya Pradesh are eligible to apply for appearing in the entrance test.
• The candidates should be above 17 years of age at the time of applying.
• Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination must have passed by the candidates, from any recognized state/national Board.
• The candidates must have passed the qualifying examination, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate in the science subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology, from any recognized Board.
• The candidates belonging to Schedule Castes (SC) / Schedule Tribes category should have cleared qualifying examination with a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates appearing in final year examination and those waiting for results can also apply to appear in MP PMT Exam.

Examination Pattern

Examination Pattern Madhya Pradesh Pre Medical Test (MP PMT) provides an opportunity for young aspirants to take admission in various private and government institutes of Madhya Pradesh. The examination pattern of MP PMT Entrance Exam is given in the following lines.

• The entrance test consists of two papers:
• Paper One (Physics and Chemistry)
• Paper Two (Biology)
• Each paper comprises objective-type questions. There are four options available in each question in front of the candidates in which they have to choose the correct answer.
• Both the papers have to be completed by the candidates within two hours duration each.
• There is no provision of negative marking in MP PMT Entrance Exam.
• All the questions and instructions in the papers are only in English medium of language.
