Computer laboratories-There are general access and bookable computer laboratories on each campus. Workstations in these laboratories contain a range of standard and specialist software.There are rules governing the use of computer laboratories.Lecture theatres-All lecture theatres are equiped with computer facilities for the presenter to use. These workstations are configured with the standard computer laboratories software. Many other teaching spaces are also equipped with computer facilities. Internet Usage System (IUS) and Internet Charges-Deakin's IUS allows staff and students to efficiently monitor their internet usage. Internet usage (i.e. web browsing) is recorded if you are connected to the Internet from within the Deakin domain - from a laboratory or office on campus, from the Deakin wireless network, from the student residences, via VPN or by a direct dial-in connection. Web browsing is not monitored by the IUS if you are directly connected to the Internet through your Internet Service Provider.Library-The Library's collections of information resources aim to support and enhance the teaching, learning and research activities and strategies of Deakin University. ,The number of journal titles in the collection has increased from around 2,000 in the early days of establishment to over 65,000 in 2007 with about 50,000 ebooks now available.
