Each campus has different facilities and further information is available on their websites.Library Facilities The La Trobe University library houses some 1.6 million items including books, journals, electronic and audio-visual resources. Students at all campuses have access to the full range of library resources, with speedy delivery between campuses. The Borchardt Library on Melbourne (Bundoora) campus is recognised as one of the leading university libraries in Australia.Dining :There is a large range of dining options at La Trobe University. The Agora at Melbourne (Bundoora) is a central meeting area with coffee shops, juice bars and food outlets. These include vegetarian and halal food options.Bendigo campus offers Sweeney’s Café which sets its prices with student budgets in mind. Albury-Wodonga has “The Hangar�, a licensed venue and café with pool tables, table tennis and an al fresco courtyard.Shepparton campus is located in town and is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and food outlets. Mildura has two dining options: a canteen and, “Reflections by the Lake�, a restaurant open to staff, students and community.Retail Outlets : Both Melbourne (Bundoora) and Bendigo campuses have retail outlets on-campus. At Melbourne (Bundoora) you many never need to leave campus at all! Banks, travel agent, hairdresser, bookshop and a post office are all at your disposal. Bendigo also has cafés, the La Trobe Bookshop and Runes, the Student Association Shop.Information Technology :La Trobe has a wide range of IT services available including high-speed fibre-optics networks at all campuses. We are also rolling out wireless connectivity across the campuses. All new students are provided with an email account and offered free training for major software applications when they start.Venue Hire :La Trobe has many rooms and facilities for hire across many of the campuses. Our major venue and conference facility is located in north-east Victoria, La Trobe at Beechworth. Dedicated to supporting professional development, conferences, seminars and special events, this unique facility offers year round accommodation for up to 200 guests.Counselling :La Trobe can provide help and support with any concerns or issues students may have, from dealing with exam stress to financial worries, depression and relationship difficulties.Medical Services :Medical services are either on or near by our campuses to help you stay healthy and safe, while enjoying university life.
