About Us
The Surigao del Norte of School of Arts and Trades was created by virtue of the RA 6057, which was enacted into law on August 4, 1969. It was Superintendent Marcelo Bonilla of Cebu School of Arts and Trades, Cebu City, who envisioned the creation of the school being a Surigueño. He drafted the bill, which was sponsored by the Congressman Constantino C. Navarro, Sr. The establishment of the school was with the full support of the Provincial Governor Jose S. Sering and his provincial Board Members who made possible the donation of 1.2 hectares of land-its present site.
