University Libraries Victoria's Library Service comprises of 5 libraries across 5 locations: these are on the Pipitea Campus in the Government Buildings Historic Reserve (Law) and in the Railway West Wing (Commerce), on the Te Aro Campus (Architecture and Design), on the Karori Campus (WJ Scott Education Library) and on the Kelburn Campus in the Rankine Brown Building (Central Library) which also houses special collections including the JC Beaglehole Room and the U.N. Documents and Official Publications Collections.Facts and Figures The University Library Service holds approximately 1.3 million printed volumes.The Library Service will spend approximately $8million in 2008 on collections (books, periodicals, e-resources) across all subject areas.Over 25,000 new books were added to the collection in 2007.We currently provide access to 70,000 print and electronic periodical titles (the vast majority being electronic) and 200,000 e-books.During 2006 the total number of items loaned was 441,000 and 674,000 full text electronic articles were accessed by staff and students.
