York’s libraries strive to be the best place for learning outside the classroom – both on site and on the web – to provide the resources and services essential to research and teaching at York. Bronfman Business Library Steacie Science and Engineering Library Osgoode Hall Law School Library Leslie Frost Library on Glendon Campus Resources include over 16,000 electronic journals, 2.5 million books, and significant collections in film, music, maps, archival materials and microforms. In 2005: Over 1,700,000 items were shelved 650,000 items were circulated 40,000 books were acquired 17,000 students attended sessions to learn how to find and evaluate information resources with others taking part in online modules
